We'd like to introduce our upcoming roleplay server, which will be opening on Friday January 13th at 6pm CST!

Both voice and text RP are accepted, and we even have the Simple Typing Bubbles mod to help our text rp players!
We will be using the Fjordur map
We have 15 races to choose from with their own adjusted stats from the CE: Races mod
We are a whitelisting server with a short application process prior to being able to join the server
Fliers are allowed
Smithy tier technology level
Roleplay focused playstyle with lore that will be built upon through in game interactions!

• Max wild dino level will be kept at 150
  
• Harvesting: 1.2x with additional resource health!
  
• Breeding will be faster (about 12 hours for first time cooldowns)
  
• Babies will grow much faster than vanilla and can be hand raised or left in a soul ball for automatic growth and imprinting, as the S+ nanny no longer accepts anything but electricity.
  
• Taming will be adjusted through Immersive Taming, allowing for combat, passive, and knockout taming that is more appropriate for the creatures being tamed.

While this Mod is on the Server, please try to avoid spamming teleporters everywhere, especially on resource rich areas or Artifacts.

Important Dino Information [Testing out something new]
So, in an attempt to try something new, which can be changed based on feedback and balance, tamed dinos will have reduced Health and Melee stats, but drastically reduced breeding/hatching times, meaning you can have more, but there's some risk for reward, and more reason to team up with others.

This is a community PvPvE server. We want people to be able to build up, have adventures, build and tame whatever they like. The PvP aspect of this server means you can raid others, but do not raid with the intention of scaring off new players or tribes. Give people a chance in this game. Newly opened to public but have been run for 3+ years, final wipe was late fall 2022, looking for some new players to join in.

-Max dino level 150 (180 Shiny).

Little about me: I started playing ARK pretty much when it came out, when Island was the only map (IIRC it didnt even have name back then) and we had like third of the dinos that are now in the game. When Crystal Isles came out I decided to rent my first server and that was also when I discovered the power of .ini file editing. Since then I cant go back to playing regular ARK and each server I make has more crazy stuff in it. I have around 1.5k hours played as an admin/owner and god knows how many hours spent on thinking of/testing some crazy ideas. This is my 4th server, and like all of my previous servers it have some stuff changed.

The server is meant as semi-casual early/mid game experience (high rates, even early tames can defend you against most stuff) with challenging endgame which gives a purpose for the upgrades

All the changes I did this time to make game more PvE focued, instead PvP

Every flyer and glider dino was removed from the game. You will have acess only to land and water dinos, you wont be able to "skip" every danger by just flying over it

Every ridable land and water dino (including modded ones) has been rebalanced and divided into 6 groups: Small Herbivores, Large Herbivores, Small Predators, Large Predators, Water Dinos and Titans. No longer you will be able to oneshot pretty much everything the moment you tame a Rex/Spino. That also means all dinos are "end game viable" and you can breed/mutate whatever you want, it will be viable to do all the content in the game (Ofc Rex is still stronger than Parasaur, just the diffrence between them is much smaller)

All alphas were rebalanced. They are no longer walking loot/exp pinatas, they will be strong enough to consider them a challange and call them "mini bosses".

The map boss stats were changed on all 3 difficulties to be more challanging (alpha one will be pretty darn tough)

Some end-game recipes were changed to become "chase items". Mostly stuff from S+ mod like Propagator, Mutator, Tek crafting benches

All beacons have been changed. They no longer containt the garbage items that they normally have, instead they contain every single item in the game that can have quality, TEK tier items included (altho those are much rarer) like saddles, weapons, tools, armours. Loot was also distrubuted in them semi-randomly , White beacon has just as good items as Red one

"The Market" was added. Its a place with "vendors" where you can sell many of the dino loots and few gatherables and also buy some end game stuff and other cool stuff. The "currency" is mutagen, which normally cant be aquired on this map, but also is used in breeding so that fixes potential inflation problem in the future

The Arena. Its my end game project. In here you can test your tames how strong they are and how many "levels" you can beat. Arena has 15 difficulty levels for 5 Alpha dinos: Alpha Rex, Alpha Karkinos, Alpha Carnotaur, Alpha Blood Wyvern and Alpha Fire Wyvern. For Alpha encounters you will be fighting with 5 of them at once. Arena also has buffed Broodmother, with 15 difficulty levels. (5 levels for each variation). Boss is also the only source of modded items with better quality (steampunk weapons/tools, ARK Addition saddles)

Here are some additional changes that make the experience more casual/fun and more info about the server:

Dinos from other maps were added to the one we play on. The plan is to add every single land and water dino available in the game. We currently have some of them added, more of them will be added over time

Extra resources that nomrally cant be aquired (on this map) were added

Every dino is breedable and can be mutated. Even those that normally cant, like Rock Golem, Karkinos or Reaper.

Infinite element. Every player will have acess to stash with "infinite" amount of element. Tek tier has a lot of cool stuff and locking them behind the boss fight (and tedious grind if you need more) is not that fun

Unlimited mutations. What I mean by that (since in theory there is no cap on mutations), using Propagator you can mutate dino as many times as you want and it always has 100% chance to mutate the dino. Normally you would do that rarely because it takes insane amount of element, but since its not a problem you can enjoy changing any dino into a walking god.

Massive speed buff. Thanks to addition of Steampunk we have Snow Slush which is consumable that gives 100% more movement speed for 10 minutes. Both players and dinos can consume it.

All engrams are auto-unlocked
