I'm not sure if this belongs under historic accuracy or suggestions but I was thinking about replacing the European flags as leaders of the African Nations with actual European governors assigned to manage the territory. Any thoughts?

Can you add more resources to Africa? Right now, it's hard to even maintain an army without trade in a bunch of places along the continent.

Great point. In my few playthroughs as various nations I struggled with that exact same problem, especially in countries with few factory slots. I’ll for sure add that, hopefully it will be included in the next update but for sure in the next few!

Waking the Tiger added shared Focus Trees, where multiple countries can all have the same focus tree, I think that might be ideal for your mod as many of the smaller African nations might not require full trees of their own. With no offense intended of course, but I think Angola might justify having a shared tree with, say, other Portugese colonies while a country that historically saw lots of fighting like Egypt might benefit from a unique one. That could save you a lot of man hours, and you could even let players without WtT use it and just give them generic trees instead of the shared ones.

I personally in a perfect world would have it have shared focus trees for colonies of the same nations (All British colonies share a tree while all French colonies share a tree, etc), with the following nations having their own trees: Algeria, Syria, Morocco, Ethiopia, Egypt, possibily South Africa but they already have a tree from TFV.

Fantastic idea! I was planning on most the countries you listed having a unique tree while just giving the generic tree to the rest, but this would change that! I was completely unaware of the ability to have shared trees and that would be a life saver in time I would have to put into this mod in order to make it great! And I too believe that European colonies of similar descent would justify having the same tree, no offense recieved haha. Thank you for the ideas!

Of course, and I don't expect all six of those, those are just what I would consider to be "Major" African players in World War 2, while Liberia for example didn't have as much of an impact.

Greetings sir! Your mod is very well made. It reminds me of a similar mod that a previous modder made but it appears that he has abandoned it due to college/study. Fortunately I saved some of the files. The focus trees in this mod are very well thought out, so you might as well use some of it. I couldn't find the original mod creator however. I've sent a friend request in order to share the files with you. Hopefully you'll find something you can use, it's a really good mod.

Edit: FYI: Also I've tried to make some changes to make it compatible wth WTT but I'm not a modder so it would crash everytime during 1939. Hopefully you can figure it out.

Would it be Possible to change the French colonies into Free France in the result of french surrender? As in change them to a different country with a different focus tree?

That is an idea I thought about briefly. While it is definetely something I aim to do, there is some stuff I need to get done before it, such as focus trees for the main colonies. But yes, events in Europe at some point will influence the African colonies, such as the example you mentioned.

Could you do a special focus for zimbabwe / rhodesia? It would be interesting to see versions of both countries in each of the political ideologies, and not just rhodesia as fascist and all others as zimbabwe.
