Compatibility notes
- Not compatible with Haul Explicitly. With this mod turned on, downed mechanoids can't be hauled. I'll look into this compatibility issue soon.
- Psychology should be placed below What the Hack!? in the load order.
- The bions added by Rimsenal Federation cannot be hacked (they aren't really mechs).
- HelpTab makes the options to mount turrets on you mechanoids disappear.
- When using RimSQOL, make sure to go to its mod options and add "recipe radius" to the list of forbidden patches. Otherwise some recipes like installing turrets won't work.
- Turret mounting doesn't work when using Combat Extended (CE), apart from that CE is completely compatible. Mechanoids that run out of ammo will automatically fetch new ammo of the right type from your stores when activated.
- Sometimes raids go wrong completely overwrites the raid spawning mechanic. Therefore, when using that mod, enemies won't spawn with hacked mechanoids.
- Not compatible with Zeriths multiplayer. I'll consider compatibility when that mod is officially released, and not in testing phase anymore.
- Animals logic adds buttons that let you set mechanoid platforms to be medical beds - don't use these buttons, as they won't work for platforms, and possibly break things. It also breaks the mechanic that lets you assign mechanoids to platforms. Fixed!


Let me know if you find any other compatibility issues! If you do, don't forget to provide a log by pressing crtl+f12 after the issue occurs. Place the link you'll get here.

Will this mod be compatible with Zerith's Multiplayer mod? As of now, it causes random desyncs. I'm not familiar with the working of both mods and think they are both awesome, so I'm just asking this out of curiosity.

When Zerith's Multiplayer is officially released, I'll look into compatibility. Until then, it's just too early, as too many things are uncertain, and any compatibility code I'd write now may become redundant later.

Hi there!
I got this error with Star Wars Factions/JecsTools.
I was in another map and got raided, the raiders brought AT-ST and other "mechanoids" from star wars.
One of the AT-ST SELF TAMED for some reason, and now i have a downed "mechanoid" that cannot be rescued.
I have a platform filled with mechanoid parts assigned to it, but i can't rescue it (grayed out label) and this error popped out once:

The self-taming can only be explained by that AT-ST is implemented as an animal instead of a regular mech under the hood. This can also be the cause of other problems. I'm not sure if there's much I can do on my end, but I'll look into it at some point.

Sad to ear that mod have a compatibility problem with Sometimes raids goes wrong.
If it just prevent ennemies from coming with hacked mechanoids it should be fine.
But if What the hack is loaded AFTER Sometimes raids goes wrong, it should be ok, right ?

Unfortunately not. Sometimes raids go wrong completely overwrites the raiding functionality, so regardless of load order, any mods that add functionality to raids can't do so.

Yes indeed. I asked the author of that mod to fix it, and he said he was going to, but he's not responding anymore.

Ive got more questions, are giddy up mechanoids, giddy up mechanoids core, and/or what the hack ate modifiying body properties ?
Ive created outfits for my pawns, and since ice got these mods, my panws refuse to wear the totallity of the outfit. They can't wear a backpack and a belt anymore, not able to wear a skull from Adeptus mechanicus with a putity seal anymore. they are wearing 5 of the 10 possible appareals from the outfit. This problem happened once with Ogliss patch with some body parts and it get solved. But this time its not from him because he hasn't updated his mod from a while

No, nothing like that is changed. But did you use the right load order for Giddy-up Mechanoids? It should be below what the hack and Giddy-up core in your list of mods, otherwise stuff will break.

If you send a log by pressing ctrl+f12 after the issue occurs, and place the link you'll get here, I can take a look at what's going wrong. But I can already tell you it's not one of my mods, if you respected the load order.

I think its respected... I think ill have to waste 5-10 more hours to notice where is the problem by playing with the load order

Or you just send your log like I asked, and if you're lucky, I can see what's going on.

I tryed to upload logs for the Forsakkens modders, i can't. Its freezing and failing everytime i tries. Its probably too heavy
My load order is:
All my mods
What the hack
Giddyup core
Giddy up Mechanoids

Im currently talking with Forsakkens modders and we think Forssakens mod is the problem because its "rewritting apparelBase"

Im currently testing with your mods and without forssakens to be sure its their fault and not yours, if its the case, im sorry for troubles :d

Ive tryed the save without forsaken, wand with the 3 of your mods. Ive asked a pawn to replace his grenade belt, by a grenade belt (the same grenade belt item) and the pawn removed 4 of his apparels. Its definitly not forsaken fault but one of the 3 of your mods... Ive sent you a friend request for talking about it
