2. Same goes for all other M&B mods, auto installation through workshop doesn't work, so you might as well ask all those authors the same question. A better question would be why did Taleworlds even implement Workshop for Warband when they didn't build proper support in?
3. And the answer to that question is the same as for all M&B modders who published on workshop, so mods can reach more people who might be interested in playing them.
Still, I see no reason why multiplayer mods wouldn't publish on workshop, the exposure is much bigger than on forum or moddb, and many players installed A.C.A.B. through workshop anyway (there are more workshop installations than moddb downloads actually)
