Mount & Blade: Warband

Mount & Blade: Warband

A.C.A.B.: Riot Mod for NW
Why is this on the workshop?
You say that it can't be downloaded from the workshop, so why is it here? The point of the workshop is to conveniently download and install game modifications.

1. You *can* download it through the workshop, but installation is a bit more complicated than downloading&extracting the zip as you have to find the folder among workshop folders, move it to game's modules and rename. All explained in mod's description.
2. Same goes for all other M&B mods, auto installation through workshop doesn't work, so you might as well ask all those authors the same question. A better question would be why did Taleworlds even implement Workshop for Warband when they didn't build proper support in?
3. And the answer to that question is the same as for all M&B modders who published on workshop, so mods can reach more people who might be interested in playing them.

I've downloaded plenty of mods through the workshop for warband that installed fine. L'Aigle, War of 1812, Star Wars: Conquest, Custom Character Creation, and Lords of Calradia to name some. I didn't have to manually install them, i just pressed subscribe and it worked fine.

Correction, it seems only multiplayer mods have this problem. Makes sense as the game installed through workshop crashes only when attempting to open the server browser.
Still, I see no reason why multiplayer mods wouldn't publish on workshop, the exposure is much bigger than on forum or moddb, and many players installed A.C.A.B. through workshop anyway (there are more workshop installations than moddb downloads actually)

1812 is a multiplayer mod, although it might just work considering it's pretty much a reskinned napoleon.
