Sorry - just seen this. Have you had any luck since? Perhaps try using the MODPATH (see the mod's description)

Yeah, I ended up DLing it from steam, then I copy and pasted it into my mods folder. That way may not work for everyone, but it worked for me.

Also, from what I can see, given that it is technically still in late alpha to early beta stages (0.5 is basically that) the mod works aside from the rare crash. But I would also love to see maybe an expansion of the GC maps, and maybe a bit more capital ship units on the NR side, and just give the empire more variety in space and on the ground, since even during the time period the mod is set in, the Empire was still fairly diverse in its employment of ships and infantry types. I am not asking for stuff on the level of the "Alliance" mod, but maybe more like in the Clone Wars mod.
