Suggestion: Marriage in your faction
So I was wandering, why does my people have to go to their faction? Screw them I love my people!! So I only want to suggest an option of "persuade" the people, more social skill more possibilities of doing fine. If done right the other person marries in your base and stays there (with a LITTLE boost on relations) If done wrong, you loose (20 for example) relation with this faction could it be possible? Thanks!

I agree with you about that, and I also noticed that there were alot of people who were lovers with some of my colonists, but there weren't any way for me to either "buy" them or convince them to join my colony, so there should really be a way for us to convince people to join our colony, or to get colonists from other faction

Try the hospitality mod, it lets you recurit people in exchange of relation with them ;)

I have to say I think it'd be nicer if the diplomatic marriages could work both ways too, they always want to marry my (usually already married!) best crafters and soldiers and I have to tell them to get bent. This event would be much better if there was a 50/50 chance they'd offer to send the person to join my settlement.

it would also be nice if it didn't spoil relations so heavily when I refuse.

This is the one thing that is keeping me from installing this mod - I never want to loose any of my colonists, why whould I? I'd love an option to have diplomatic marriages where you get a colonist, not loose one...
