Shards never spawn!
As the title says.

I've been playing Jazztronauts for several days now and it's quite fun! However I've gone through several dozen maps and shards never spawn, at all. The shard counter at the top of the screen always states that "Collected All 0 Shards!" and I don't think my luck is THAT BAD.

Any pointers on how to fix it?
