Currently there is no real reason why some people crash and some don't. Someone mentioned to me that it might be older CPUs that don't work well with the game but I simply do not know.
Some people run my mods only and they experience crashes while others don't. On the other side of the spectrum we have people who run a LOT of mods and experience crashes while there are people with 80+ mods that don't crash at all. So I have honestly no clue why this happens. I tried to resolve it for a while and nothing has worked so far, I sort of fixed the issue for some people that didn't have Crimson Court / Color Of Madness DLCs but aprox. 15% of players crash, which is very sad.
This reminds me of the old Widget String error that some people experienced and some people didn't. I asked the devs about it and all I got was silence, I tried to fix that for like 2 or 3 months, nothing worked, after that I gave up and the error was magically fixed when Color Of Madness DLC was released. So my bet would be that the crashing issue is within the game itself which I sadly cannot fix. I've tried a lot of things and nothing worked so far.
