Rogue Xcom as New Faction
This mod brings me back to the glory days of Xcom EW. With your work here already being mostly done on this one, and experience adding an extra faction (namely, the Specters), I would like to see this as an addon to the factions. The setup is there, and I would give a lot for MECs and SHIVs again!

well, you can technically already get SHIVs again via CX's SHIV mod. gives ya the Alloy and Standard ones anways (something still screwy about any "flying" stuff, apparently).

that said, i do support getting MECs back. Hell, we could even use, say, Van Doorn, Private Friendly or that Sargeant we ran into on one of the Council missions as the leader of the group, just to tie it in even more with the EW/EU stuff.

I concur with HolyFarglsnot. This should be a faction you could get on your side, apart from the Liberate from your alien mods. Keep up the good work, RealityMachina.

@Jose: that, or at least co-exist with on the battlefield as long as you stay at arms' length. they do have plenty of reasons to not trust you, afterall, you are working with ADVENT Hybrids, Crazy Psychics and Guys who literally eat Aliens for breakfast after all, not to mention ACTUAL aliens if you use AU. it would be nice to get the odd MEC trooper who decides to join back up with the main XCOM branch, though.

Not only would it make sense, it would be nice to have a sort of half-way between normal soldiers and sparks

@Admiral @ Jose: well, now we do since the MEC Trooper mod's out. not really a faction, per se, but it is skilled up much like a faction trooper.

Well, RM did bring MECs back! And thanks to Iridar, we got all of their old toys and more as well.
