Also can you make it(I know some mods do this), that if an enemy is near, they'll join the fight or an ally(or can choose if they want too or not). I hate having chase them all down, when they can jump in the fight, saves time. :)
Personally I'd hate to see any sort of firepowered weapons, it's best to stay to medieval swords etc
If you do decide to add another kingdom faction, I suggest checking out Zendar in Nova Aetas, or Realm of the Falcon in Perisno, or entire Gekokujo mod(They do a wonderful job balancing out the rifles/pistols since it's towards end of feudal japan, when other folks started to visit). Nova Aetas I felt did a good job on the guns too.
Edit: Yup. Waited, till I was finally conquered & kicked out my last castle(Only had a castle/town). Didn't bother defending, wanted to see if he would return then. But didn't. Waited for 3 months before that.
So as of now, don't send your kid as an Diplomat. (Had him go to University, was going be my smoother talker/engineer/Archer.
