Did you move it from the available mods list to the active one? If you happen to be new to modded ark play in general it's an easy step to forget/overlook. To play a mod it needs to not only be in your game but in the active mods list. There are two boxes to the right of where you select what map you're playing on. The lower box is the mods that have been subscribed to and downloaded. The upper box are the mods that are active in the game you're playing right now. There is an arrow next to both boxes. The arrow for the lower box will add a mod you select by clicking on it to the active mod box. The arrow for the above box will remove a mod you have selected from that box. Neither arrow will do anything if you have not clicked on a mod.
