Going Over 65k Population
I realise that going over 65k population is a game limitation and a workaround is being designed. I'm just wondering what happens exactly when you go over this limit?

The reason I ask is that the last two tiles are not unlocked until 70k and 90k pop. I run with a 25 tile mod so I need to unlock that last tile to get all 25. So it's not till 90k pop that I'll have all tiles and then I'd want to expand somewhat to finish the city.

I think that having reached 65 thousand people, only 65 thousand will be real. The rest will be for beauty, that is, they will move like in vanilla, and not how to eat at lunch or breakfast.

I have a city with 160k people and "real"on. To the best of my knowledge (?) once I hit the 65,535 cap (only during rush hour when everyone is commuting to work) everyone else is just simulated.

Some clarification would be nice but from my anecdotal experience you can select "real" with more than 65k residents, and once you get more than 2-3x the size (eg 150k means ~50-100k placed during rush hour) any past the limit are just simulated and don't affect the city in a negative way.

More than 65k citizens and "all citizens are real" setting don't work nicely together. That means, Real Time tries to simulate as much as it can, but the game restricts the number to 65k. Effectively, this leads to such unwanted side effects like: the citizens stay significantly longer as intended at work, at school or in the commercial buildings, they might "teleport" to some buildings or be stuck there for a really long time.

Can I help those “stuck” people by someway like increasing the public vehicle capacity to get people to their destination as soon as possible?
