Undefended(?) Fallen Empire homeworlds wiping out my fleets
(First off, I will say I installed this mod over 100 years into my current game. I don't know how much of a factor that could be, but I figured I'd better mention it in case it's pertinent.)




I'm currently at war with the Spiritualist FE, and am winning handily. I defeated their two fleets with moderate losses, have taken out all their starbases/outposts, and have begun orbital bombardment of their outlying colonies. So far, so good.

However, when my two fleets (both around 600k) in the FE's home system began bombarding the Celestial Throne and the Sky Temple, they dissolved to nothing in only a few months(!). When I zoomed in on the bombardments to try and figure out what was actually happening, I could see my ships exploding, but not what was destroying them.

So any idea what's going on here? As far as I can tell, neither planet has anything on it that can (or at least should be able to) fire back up at my fleets.


However, if both planets do, in fact, have powerful anti-ship weapons (that I can't see for whatever reason), and therefore the FE's homeworlds are that well defended, then I might as well simply build a Colossus and blow them up. I'm not sacrificing over 1M worth of fleet power just to take the bloody things. (Argh.)




EDIT: And just to be clear, yes the problem is definitely with this mod. I tried reloading a saved game with the mod disabled, I no longer encountered the issue. When re-enabled this mod, the problem popped up again.
