Also, I dug around in the mod files to pull up the tech ids and the ids for the prereqs (and the prereqs' prereqs) and fed them one by one into research_technology and both the sigma and alpha A'merigo gave me "could not research prerequisite technology for ___", even though I both had just fed those prereqs to research_technology successfully, and me already having researched and constructed the alpha A'merigo upgrade. Is this Paradox bs?

@V0idwalker the quest line leads to Dark energy drawing. then Delta reactors.

As for prereq for the quest. you need Dark matter drawing. and the Enchanced Zero Point Reactor,

A small question. What are the prerequisites for the Dark Designs event to pop up? I know in the doc it is said that you need to learn Dark Matter and Dark Energy Drawing... but in two of my previous games, I was able to get it just by researching Dark Matter Drawing. However in my current game, it has been quite a long while since I researched it, and the Dark Designs event didn't pop up at all. Am I missing something or did the event got bugged somehow?

@Ced Appears there's no upgrade for it rn on the Sigma upgrade for it rn on the initializer.

I've doung a problem about the celetial forger not having his record in the DBP being marked as a secondary emissiary archive so I cna't understand how he works and I think it doesnt work normally too cuz he is just a civilian ship with no special interaction if you can find out why ?

@Ced Known issue, Blame Paradox

Only reason a tech would reappear is if you did not research its preregs. again, Blame paradox,(This is a Vanilla issue)

Two other things I've since found, A'merigo Shiva tech is being researched but immediately showing back up in the tech pool; and I'm not sure if it's intended or not but I can't see a Sigma Rejuvenator Beam

Just a heads up, when I built a void sphere all of its buildings were destroyed and its alpha capital was replaced with a planetary admin.

Automated dreadnought was because chiru just added that.

Just one (?) more question...... Any changes to the "mechromancy" ascension perk, or the reanimation function in general? I was purging some amoebae to expand my fleet instead I got none in return......
Also the reanimated dragon is sooooo weak compared to the living one...... and the rebuilt automatic dreadnought, which has a boss aurora at least under acot.

Another observation: my machine intelligence empire seems to be unable to gain curator research principles (the one that requires 50 trust). The button description does not contain any leader trait. Since acot completely overhauled the curator order, I suspect that the issue has something to do with this mod. I am yet to test this on hive empires.

Yes that is the problem. My crystals only have shards (weapon), several empty defensive slots and regenerative tissue.

from my seeing in my acot save the Crystals do not have said components. with is odd.(i think i already noticed this before, where they werent giving debries for it)

@Xia Crystals do not have armor. they get Crystal-infused plating). (and Regenerative Hull tissue)

And i dont remember Acot ever touch those or its upgrades.

I'm having a strange bug with crystalline entities:
Whilst all other space faunas are normal, I cannot save new designs for my crystals, "empire lacks required technology" it reports, without stating what the technology is.
So I investigated this issue by starting a new game and, with the "research all technologies" function, the issue persists. I also noticed that all the natural crystals are not equipped with any armor at all, so I'm inclined to believe that it is an issue with the crystal armor technology.
My ultimate question is, does acot (or a submod) change the crystal armor technology? If so how could it cause a clash with potentially another mod that changes the same technology?

I did resub earlier but it didnt seem to fix it
I can see it's not showing anymore now which is odd cause it was showing that a few hours ago
Still crashes when I boot up though, even when this mod is the only one being ran. Are there any dependencies I'm missing?

I found out if I have 'Universal Game Rules Patch' on my playset I'll get a crash with 'Giga' and 'ACOT'. The error log will always have an asteroid artillery 'invalid design for create_ship effect' error as its last logged item before crashing 5 days in, but once disabled and removed from playset the crash 5 days in stopped for me(other peoples crashes may very, I just wanted to post my crash resolved experience encase it might help someone else)

For some reason, the month after receiving the Heir's Lion, despite having a huge positive surplus of Dark Energy production, I get hit with the Critical Resource Shortage saying that I am out of Dark Energy, despite having over 3,000 Dark Energy and producing about 15 per month.

@TheLtake Randomy with giga it likes to crash around 5 days with giga.

From my assumption it has to do with the Fallen empire megastructure on giga's side.

@hdm unknown. likely another mod(like above) causing it.

I keep crashing to desktop after I close the game config windows. No error message so not sure why. The game runs fine if I remove all ACOT mods. I'm running it with NSC3 and Gigaconstruction.

so anyone else having problems with the fractured world origin crashing the game on day five? my PC isn't the issue I've done prosperous unification and shattered ring origin and they get through day five fine. is the start broken or am i missing something that i'm supposed to do on my end?
