Hi, i came across a peculiar bug and i cannot find any info on this online so i figured i'd ask here.
First of all i need to mention i use Giga with ACOT.

I was following the curator databank acquisition and gave a leader up, and successefully used the minor artifact activation, it pooped up the window that told me i got the tech option for "precursor databank analysis" and i checked, there is no such technology in all my three techs availables.

With what i figured out digging online its suppose to add a tech that you are supposed to finish to pop an event that beings up a contact you can then open up in the main list of contacts, which you can then get alpha tech from.

But the thing is the tech i mentioned in quotes doesn't pop up at all,so i figured out i could ask if can i have the tech ID for Precursor Databank Analysis ? If i use a console command i might be able to get around this problem.

@Jackle: that's an issue caused by the way the game is coded. To solve it, install Universal Resource Patch (or a similar mod) and load it AFTER Ancient Cache and Gigastructural Engineering.

Hi some quick questions if anyone doesnt mind answering, first what should the mod load list be when using alongside gigastructure? Im getting the issue where the special resources panel either shows only gigastructures special resources, or this mods special resources. thanks for the help

No, im not Linux user. All standart, Win 11. Its not OS problem. I spent about 2 hours testing and disabling other mods, one by one, read all available and possible compatibility issues. And conclusion is: ACOT causes crashes. Interesting is that game launches (interesting, because usually if there some problems with mods, game doesnt run) and CTD after starting new game, when 1% of downloading is left. There is no problems with PC hardware (RAM or other), all is high-end. And other mods all working great. But when you select ACOT - all-time crash. There is no information, as i said before, or compatibility patches to connect ACOT with my other mods. They should works together without problem, but they doesnt. Other persons report same problem, just read "Crashes before startup" locating higher.

@Biv86 Acot itself should not crash.

Are you a Linux user? its a known issue(with is not fixable on acot's side).

ACOT causes CTD everytime starting new game. It simple not working. Everything else works as it should, only this mod. Could you fix this?

Acot does not support non english localization. (you would have to grab a loc mod for it)

When the game is set to the Chinese language, mods only display code, similar to `effect give_technology`.

Having an issue with upgrading to enigmatic capitals?

I do the decision but then the enigmatic capital appears as an additional building instead of replacing the original. Then the next month the game recognises that there is two capital buildings and removes the enigmatic one leaving me with an non-upgraded one.

This also happens when I have the upgrade to my colonisers to build one upon colonisation, it creates the second capital in the second slot and then removes it.

Currently only tried with machine empires, but I've done it a few times to try and get it working but it keeps happening.

Has anyone else noticed that phanon population packages don‘t work? I do the decision, it finishes and nothing happens. I really need those pops.. is there something i‘m doing wrong?

That's a shame, it sounds like wilderness would miss out on quite a lot then. Would you recommend a wilderness playthrough at that point then? I was hoping wilderness would have some of it's unique features covered but it is fairly buggy and weird in of itself

The game always crashes at the same time, seemingly due to the failure to create the ACOT capital building on the AI planet

Just curious and asking again if this mod accounts for a lot of the unique interactions and buildings the Wilderness origin has, especially the terraforming colonization and unique buildings, if they have delta variants and since they're likely unable to colonize fractured worlds, and especailly biomass interaction as well, as wilderness is it's own unique little thing.

I have found that Shroudforged psionic machine pops do not make defense armies or can be recruited to make ACOT army units, leaving worlds undefended and unable to make armies to invade other worlds. I also noticed that the Psionic traits for Biologicals and Machines are different with the Debugtooltip; Biologicals are just Psionic while Machines are "robot-psionic", maybe that is the root of the problem?
