Phanon Corps Bug - Saviors of the Universe
I've been having an issue recently where the Phanon Corps are ruining my fun in terms of the end-game crisis! As soon as a crisis spawns, they send 3-4 retaliation fleets, each with 109million fleet power, to obliterate the crisis as soon as it arrives, before they can even get out of their starting system. Even when I deleted the fleeting using console commands, they instantly (within a month, certainly) had 3-4 more fleets dropping on the crisis once more.

This is very annoying as I get no challenge from the end-game crisis, who in turn would purge the galaxy and help my poor poor frames! I have yet to try turning off Phanon Corps AI (i don't even know if i can turn off just their ai and no others), removing the hyperlanes around them so they cannot leave their system, or taking control of their buildings using commands and then trying to get rid of them.

I don't want to lose out on the rest of the mod but at this stage I really want to remove Phanon Corps from my galaxy. On another note I have no dialogue options with them to help research stellarite power or anything else really, but i'm pretty sure that's due to user error somehow.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated as I'd love to keep the mod but I won't want to lose my crises either!

only thing I can suggest until they address this is, use debugtooltip to find the id of the newly spawned phanon faction and delete the fleets

Likewise, this would be awesome mod if not for the Phanon corps agressively exterminating every crisis. I *have* to unsubscribe to have a chance to have any fun playing. As it is, they exterminate everything - the gray tempest, the prethoryn... The only ones they did *not* vaporize on sight were the blokkats. But levelling up with no challenge until blokkats is... Extremely boring and disappointing.

P.S. Give it a badass 100M starbase instead of fleets. Or something like strike corvettes - ships with no FTL capability - and name them "autonomous defense platforms". I suspect another mod is interfering with the AI settings.

isnt there the option to disable phanon corp in settings? i might be misremembering

yeap there is, ACOT configuration menu (under edicts), Content pack, Disable phanon

They attack crisisi? Is there a way to disable that, or do I have to delete the megastructure that does that?

Heres a thought. If you want a Challenge just kill them. Easy. Will it be hard? Extremely. However the difficulty is necessary for what you can get. Which is all their tech. Requires a decent General and you need Armies that do either no collateral damage or just 100%.
