Making Money
Anyone have any good suggestions on how to make *lots* of money?

I have tried trading things from one place to another, which has some good profit if the town im selling to has enough money to spend... which sadly in most cases the tows only have ~1k, which is nothing when I have goods worth 4-5k

I have also tried attacking broken men and sellswords but seems like the loot mechanic is broken as I never get enough out of these attacks to sell to towns + if I do then I have to sell over multiple towns as most dont have enough cash!

I have also tried owning multple business, but this way is not fast enough + the economy fluctuates too much so you can go from profits ~500 to ~-60

And finally, the bank of bravos 2.5% interest rate is fine but this way is only effective if you already have more then 100k to put in the bank, otherwise the investment is to tiny to help

Any good suggestions will be most appreciated!

1 - Get a Mace (War Mace with 90 range is the best because you can't wear 2 hand maces on horseback in this mod).
2 - Knock uncouscious bandits on horses (Horsemen/Leaders/Skirmishers).
3 - Sell them to a ransom brokers.
4 - Repeat.
5 - Profit.

Who said slavery was a bad thing ?
Oh wait i'm black...

I also tried your way but the profit margin is too small. The most you can get out of each run, say 20-30 higher tiered slaves will be 4-5k, but then depending on who you attacked you will only have to fight it out + might lose men

Fighting each battle out will waste time, time you can use to instead go with the trading options.

Also, depending on who you attack the profit will fluctuate and in the battle you might lose precious soldiers that you had to train up, considering upgrading a reach kight to a heavy reach knight can cost up to ~588 gold per knight losing even one is too much

To make a good enough profit you need to enslave higher tired units, which in turn increase the risk of damaging your own expensive forces

As with most mount and blade mods the kings around here will always be looking for mercenaries to fight their wars, this is great as they will pay most of your troop wages and you can raid villages and sell the goods for lots of cash. This is an excelent way to make money early on before you either start your own kingdom or join a faction, as soon as you do that you have to pay your own troops. You can also open a bank account in Braavos to save any extra cash you do not want to lose and you get a 2.5% interest on the total amount in your bank... You never know when savings will come in handy.

Also most towns have around 1k in the early game as time goes on this gets better, but almost all coastal towns (Oldtown, White Harbour, Lys, Volantis) and a few others have 6-10k cash at all 3 dealers

I have done the way i always do: first trade a little bid, mostly Salt, Iron ingots and Fur . As protection i used the simple poacher, thats enough to protect u from small troops. After a few ingame weeks i changed and start making quests and kill raiding troops. U can live mostly from the knocking out and the payments. And by using the troops u find. I got Raiders around with 100 and more prisoners. I always recruit them and make auto fights. So i loose troops, also get more prisoners and a lot of loot and always have space for new Soldiers. And if my manpower goes down to much i simply recruit a few from the small hamlets.
With a little bid of luck u get up to 5-7k Stuff out of one fight. So u easy get tons of money.
i am around day 110, already have 200k cash, and in nearly all towns (except a few, because all businnes there tell me its a negative income) a businnes.

Soloing on foot is the best way that I know of to make a lot of money, at least early in the game. This gives you not only a lot exp/levels, but you can also make a lot of money in the process. It requires an initial investment in the heaviest armour available and either a 2H war mace or a great sword (my favourite). A character with a body/head armour of at least 90 becomes almost immune to most common weapons, and can easily defeat bands of brigands or broken soldiers. The only real threats are lances and powerful bows/crossbows.

maybe if u play in kiddie mode, 1/4 dmg to players , but with regulary mode even 1 Mountain Bandit can knock u out with a simple club und the best armours in game, because there is nothing like an "immunity" anymore.

And if u are unlucky u get a bad hit in the heat by a simple forest bandit and easy loose most of your health. And if u get one time knocked out, the show is over, because u have lost.
And i u always need small amounts of enemys, if there come 50 or more stronger bandits than u can do nothing more than run away.

I have an actual good answer for you. So Cozur broke the game with armor value which is a disadvantage at lower levels but an advantage at higher levels. Simply get enough gold to buy the +89 head armor and +72 +22 body armor and can you literally one versus one-thousand sellsword mercenaries, don't attempt this with dorthraki raiders though and don't attempt this with most parties. Sellsword mercanies drop quality armor and weapons enough for you to sell in pentos. Dorthraki raiders will 3-5 shot you skirmishers arrows will bring you down 20%-25% hp with each shot so going after them is suicide essentially. NOTE: To avoid sharing loot your party this to be at max 3 people anymore and you're making less profit

Not sure what you mean by "immunity" if you're talking about how arming swords C value can penetrate best armor in the game well you're wrong the arming sword C can't penetrate strong armor well, and it's Pierce value or P can penetrate decently but not effectively enough to do serious DPS. BTW this takes a very long time but most reliable way to have steady income is to make a velvet shop in every store. Very expensive and time consuming but cozur needs to improve money making in game, armor nerf, etc
