Can't swear fealty to Aegon. Help?

So, The Targaryen invasion started, however I cannot join them. Any help?
I can join as a sell sword, but I would like to become a full vassal. l

Did you tried to build up a relationship with them? Like getting +1 points with their faction?

I managed to fix it. I had over +40 with them wen I tried to swear fealty which is why I was confused why I couldn't join them.
