So I've successfully laid siege to a castle...
I only had about 90 troops of my own, and I wanted to capture Sunstone (an island castle owned by Lys which is very close to the territory that the faction I've joined is.
I tricked/persuaded the Archon to follow me while I started sieging Sunstone and started the inital battle.
After knocking out about 90% of their forces, I accidentally pressed Tab to retreat.
I had to rebuild the ladders, and during that time the Archon ran off.
But I had sufficient forces of my own to capture the castle without the Archon's help.

Now I have the screen stuck on a decision:
"Sunstone has fallen to your troops, and you now have full control of the castle. It is time to send word to Archon Bessaro Omosethes about your victory."

- Request Sunstone be awarded to you.
- Ask no rewards.


... Neither option does anything. I am stuck.
