Immortal Trait Confusion
I am confused about the immortal trait for rulers, it says that I need my ruler to be a type of elf or dwarf to have the trait, but whenever I try to make it so my ruler is said race (I usually just change the culture to see if it works) it sill doesn't allow me to use it, I was also wondering if there was a way for normal human rulers to be immortal as well?

If i remember correctly only Lich and Vampire are immortal. Dwarfs and Elvs do have the trait but are not excactly immortal. Its just that their live expactains are higher than other races.. For excampel: A Dwarf does have the live expactation of 200 years (?) that means you get an event some years before your rulers reaches that age and tells you that your ruler will soon die. Dont remember if he dies at excactly that age but its the same for elven rulers.
idk for Liches and Vampires.
