Anbennar: A Fantasy Total Conversion

A issue with the Dwarfs of Verkal Gulan
In the game, you start as a Republic with a despot in power. The problem begins when you can't stop the conversion into a Monarchy after Urothr dies. The mission Restore the Council can't be completed because you don't have any republican tradition. Maybe add a decision to increase your republican tradition. A mission to protect the Republic or just add a bonus somewhere to increase from 40 to 50 republican tradition.

Sometimes after Urothr dies I turn into a regular Republic with the "Choose Admin, Diplo, or Military leader" but it seems to require a natural death of Urothr and not one in battle? Although I'm not 100% certain on that. And there are a few events that pop up during it that allow you to get like 5-10 tradition

So I forgot about this post but I found out that if you just never make him a general he lives for a very long time so his death doesn’t become the issue for a long time. I hope they can add the long life span to generals and admirals at some point, that would be awesome.

They're probably waiting for the new Emperor expansion/update, especially in regards to that. I know the new expansion is changing lifespans of Generals and adding more info to them when recruited

yea that makes sense.

But you do not want to be a Republic as dwarf, as it is broken, reelction after 20+ years.. so you arestuck with crappy 4.1.1 rulers and that is way too awfull to play as dwarf as you want very very good rulers to do massive DEV of capital and good tradegood provinces!

Yeah but you're locked out of a bunch of the mission trees if you don't go Republic

You know maybe they should make a special government for Dwarf Republics which does a election 50 or 100 years but also the advantage of a Republic is the ability to change your focus on monarch points. You can always just reelect your current ruler and I got to the point in the game were i could pay advisors which could give me +5 to each monarch point so that made it super easy to keep up and become one the most rich and technological advance nation in my game

Sortition is very effective for dwarves.
