Report a translation problem
In earlier EA they were actually much smaller, only reason they made them bigger was for the platform saddles I suspect. Mosa's would be horrifying enough on their own for humans, given we are perfect bite size for those and real ones would come to the surface regularly for air.
Honestly a lot of the stuff in Ark would realistically be impossible to tame at least to the point of riding it like a damn horse, but at least ambush predators like that would have some level of guile - real alligators are smart enough to know when its feeding time , and who is feeding them - sometimes even do a trick or two, but they will still eat your head if they are given the option but for the sake of gameplay mechanics we end up with sarcos and such.
Sharks though, yeah those are just really nasty fish - sure my gold fish get super excited when i walk up to the tank, but I don't see them taking directions any time soon. My goldfish also dont growl....thats so dumb.
Also fixing some other things.
