Persistant Apocalypse (dedicated server w/o database)
I don‘t want to spam the commentary section anymore, so I am opening this thread. I‘ve played some games with Ravage MP Save or GRAD-Persistence or both. Currently running only GRAD seems to be the best option, although I‘d prefer a built-in option tailor made for Ravage.
Player inventory and position survives a server restart, but I am not sure how many details (damage, fuel, inventory, position) of player vehicles and boxes are really persistant.
I‘ve had to give each object placed in the editor a variable name and I had to reduce GRAD from saving all objects to saving only editor placed objects. Otherwise the lags after respawn were unbearable.

@Haleks
I have absolutely no clue about the complexity to create a persistant MP saving system, but I‘d like to know if (for a start) such a small system would be possible:
- saving all informations about the players and their gear
- saving date / time
- (maybe saving informations about respawn positions)
- having a module where some (4 - 8) variable names could be defined and saving all info including inventory about each object with one of these variable names.

Thank you
Whiteface
