Description
What is it?
Ravage is a survival mod for Arma 3, bringing you a comprehensive set of tools to create scenarios with ease. Ravage adds new assets, game mechanics and modules, as well as new missions and countless tweaks and modifications. Creating your own scenario for Ravage requires close to zero scripting knowledge : the mission editor modules are designed to work in both singleplayer and multiplayer - dedicated or locally hosted - and are easy to configure.

What's in it?
- Zombies reacting to players and NPCs alike.
- Basic needs simulation integrated to vanilla game mechanics.
- Dynamic spawn systems for zombies, NPCs, furnitures, loot, vehicles and wrecks.
- Soundtracks from the STALKER games.
- Integrated support for numerous mods, including gear, vehicles and terrains.
- A basic MP characters persistency system that doesn't require any external database.
- New textures and assets.
- Dynamic weather.
- And much more!

Ravage also includes several demo missions under the "scenarios" tab, showcasing what can be achieved by simply using the mission editor modules.

Kodabar created a Ravage Wikia[ravage.wikia.com], where you will find detailed informations about the mod, download mirrors, tutorials, missions, editing tips and scripts. The wikia is regularly updated, and anyone is free to contribute.

There's a Youtube Channel as well, thanks to Gunter Severloh : it's the best place to find everything related to Ravage on Youtube.

Also, the original thread on BIS forums, where Ravage was first released back in 2015 : Ravage[forums.bohemia.net]
If you have any issue to report, or would like to discuss further on scripts and concepts, that's the place for it. I always keep an eye on it, and it is also much more convenient than the Workshop comments section.

Credits and thanks
Cunico : gasmasks and shemaghs 3D models and textures.
Bad Benson : Zombies and Infected textures.
Evil Organ : SFX and dynamic compositions.
Teacup[forums.bohemia.net] and the Breaking Point team : Zombie animations.
Giorgygr : Additional models and textures.
Cosmic10R : Retextured weapons.
MadMoo : Radioactive zone warning sign.

GSC for the STALKER games and allowing use of their assets.
Larrow, Na_Palm, Meatball and Zooloo75 for sharing various scripts and concepts.
Kodabar and Gunter Severloh for their continuous support.
Everyone for playing the mod!

The player persistency system is quite old and BIS made several changes to the respawn system since then. I guess it's time to update that part, but it's been years since I played Arma in MP, so it might take me some time to catch up... ^^'

I agree, the whole revive / respawn thing is a bit difficult. Everything else is done in less than ten minutes, but respawn AND revive incl. save gear turned my hair grey. Probably not working well in combination with grad-persistence.
Had some performance issues when playing on monday, but other mods had received an update too ( and Arma is still Arma), so I don‘t really think that Ravage caused the trouble.

Okay maybe you can help me @Haleks.

I am playing with 3 friends. When we try to continue only my Loadouts are saved (2nd gun). All of there 2nd guns disappear. Also, random loot in everyones inventory but mine keeps disappearing. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I mean, he spawned where he disconnected and when we joined again server message showed up saying "player has died" (during game with choosable respawn places)
During playthrough with respawning at death place, he suddenly got launched to the bottom corner of the map right after spawning. We got killed by zombies

@Kaiser Franz Joseph I : I will investigate - do you remember how you and friend died? Were you killed or did you die of starvation or radiation?
Haleks  [author] Mar 19 @ 12:53pm
@Ryfoster501 : I just updated the mod - everything should be working as intended now. If you were playing a SP mission, make sure to start a fresh game.

Awesome! Any way for me to disable that mechanic on my end in the meantime?

Hi Haleks, can you help me?
I've created my own scenario (it wasn't that hard...at least I thought so) and I enabled respawns (ability to choose place where you wanna spawn, like Tent serving as spawn). Everything was working fine at the beggining, but one day later when me and my friend wanted to play, he couldn't spawn correctly, he died after spawn and couldn't spawn on tent in our camp. When he spawned at the starting point he died 2 seconds later. It's happening all the time now, so the save is lost. Before that whole thing I choosed an option to respawn where you got killed. It also worked fine for some time, but after few hours it also fucked up.
Any ideas? :(

@Ryfoster501 : Yes, along with several improvements. The current implementation was a bit rushed as I lack time to work on the mod.
