OWB - Enclave Reborn
Nevada vs America
I'm curious what other people take. The Benjamin Franklin society is interesting and having a bunch of federated territories actually seems a bit closer to what a reformist Enclave may see as a successor to the US. Also, a "overhauled" NPR is pretty close to pre-war democratic ideals. Destroying a long-standing stable and powerful society over a few, frankly, silly quibblings (trade caravan power, etc) seems a bit short-sighted of Granite. Also having to deal with a much smaller land area and NOT face doom at the hands of the NPR is nice. Of course, the America branch is a bit...grander.

What does everyone else use?

The American approach is, at least in opinion, more fun in Singleplayer. While being able to force some of your friends into a faction might be even more fun.

This is true. I am curious what someone in Granite's position would do in real life. I have been thinking and the Nevada path seems to be "giving up" on the Enclave from a certain point of view. Of course, it could potentially be a stepping stone: keep expanding the federation eventually. It doesn't HAVE to end at Nevada and I can imagine jumping from the Nevada tree to the America tree.

Personally, I enjoy seeing what other countries do. While the Enclave America path is tailored for world domination play, that's just not really what I find fun. Honestly, my favorite games in vanilla HOI are when the war never happens to spark at all or to a very small degree.

The Nevada tree might become more interesting when more of the map is covered by OWB. Nevada is mostly a less extensive US tree, but federated. But they it and it's faction cover the majority of OWB's area, because only the west coast and mexico are in the game. But that may not be the case when OWB expands eastward. So the Nevada path might become more unique as it has to either tolerate or rival foreign states. While the US path does not have to do that, because they can just steamroll anyone.

Nevada is an interesting approach, but when i played it it just felt.....not as awesome. I mean sure, your creating a faction of federated territories that look like the US, but why do that when you can have the second coming of the United States and take America back all in one go?
