And it is abandoned... BUT the (visual and likely also flight and damage, etc) model would need to be nearly re-done from scratch, as it really looks very ugly and outdated...

BUT Maybe you might need to tweak the model to make it into a MiG-25 so that he could allow you to add it into your mod. (just so that he does not see it as plagiarism. Specially since his MiG-31 is almost surely completely "complete", you know?)
