Ideas and Suggestions!
Post all of your ideas and suggestions for the mod here!

We will not give Divine Blood to the Revelationists.
We won’t consider any suggestions that mention “pre-Event” people. This includes all suggestions inspired by the TV show “The 100” or anything with the word “bunker” in it.
Brazil will be the first off-map power. We won’t consider suggestions about other off-map powers until we’re done adding Brazil.
We won’t consider any suggestions regarding slavery or white supremacy.

I don't want to create an entirely new mechanic that would take weeks of work to implement on even a basic level when we don't even have secret religions in the mod yet.

I would settle for an event or chain that simulates a rise in Texan nationlism and uprising to kick the invaders (comanches, mexicans, dixies, creols and even tejanos to some extent) out.
We (I am a native) are extremely nationlistic and I can't see even an apacolipse changing that to were we would be good with creols ruling the east and comanches ruling the west. Tejanos are alright because they are not mex but are texans themselves. maybe a way to intagrate them?
The Comanche are "natives" too, so it's kind of incorrect to characterize their takeover as a foreign invasion. The reason that Texans are mostly cool with the Comanche is that the Comanche converted to Christianity - for everyone else, the vanilla cultural/religious unrest mechanics should be enough to provoke an uprising. Also, native Texans actually control a majority of territory with Texan culture, if you count the Texan-cultured Duke of Abilene in the Kingdom of Comancheria.
Also, Dixies control exactly 0 counties with Texan culture. Same with Tejanos - Tejanos don't control any territory with Texan culture at the start.

I just wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding, (due the tone set by certain other posts, ahem) I am not saying in any way that I think comanches, tejanos, creols or even stupid californians are worth less than the texian people. We are all human and equal.....exept yankees.

Forgot to backspace dixies.
Like I said tejanos are probably good where they are, they are texans same as texians and I know it fits realisticly (like that is importnant) for the southern parts of texas to be of the tejano culture. An intagrated culture along the lines of how french, italian and english apear would be awsome.

While the comanches are natives, (sort of.) they are not a common part of life in texas now and have a vastly different culture from texians and tejanos. In that way they are foreign and in charge of a vast section of what was at one time texan territory. (I will make a case here that texans are always more comfortable with a texan in charge, even if they are idiots, they are one of us)

Christian they may be but they are catholic, that honestly should make things worse, not better.
(the three diferences between a tejano and a texian is skin {only partly, the sun burns all}, height, and faith. texans are mostly protastant and tejanos catholic)

I was refering to a more playable uprising.

Y'all are doing awsome on this mod, don't let me twist you up becuase I want some specific flavour.

If you wanna use any content from my submod that adds Congregationalism you're welcome to.

how about adding "decadence" mechanics to the consumerists? i have no idea how hard it is to mod that system, but it would be interesting if consumerists gained "decadence" by hording money and not spending enough or something like that

also maybe some way to either influence the americanist presidential elections or at least see what influences people to vote for somebody

also also maybe add more nomadic governments, theres ALOT of wide open plains in north america that would be great for nomads, but there seems to be a serious lack of them

Would be great in this sort of setting to have a whole cutlure (or religion) for cannibals, something that seems likely for such a devastating post apocalytic society. Would make good events too.

I think that there should be some unique decisions for each vanilla empire, and perhaps some unique bonuses for each of provinces with the landmarks. With that and the idea of a offmap power added into the game, After The End would personally be more immersive.

unique structures like in washington you can find the white house? idk if its already in the game

Despite slavery stil being a thing in Europe and elsewhere at the time of ck2, it's not represented in any way, so I don't see why they have to.

Dear 9Kbits,
If it wouldn't be a problem or be considered a waste of Your time I would kindly like to suggest some form of a Polish-themed addition to the mod.
I base my suggestion on these facts:
a) the Polish minority in the USA represents about 3% population and is the US' largest Slavic ethnic group so it is quite possible that some form of a Polish-American culture would survive, with some changes to it of course, an apocalyptic event,
b) Poles had quite a big influence in American history - Kościuszko and Pułaski, for example helped the Thirteen Colonies achieve independence from Great Britain, there is even a city in Mississippi named after the former
c) who wouldn't want winged hussars in a post-apocylyptic feudal setting? :D,
If You would need any help with research, coming up with namelists, ideas for events and pictures for them, or anything else tied to my suggestion that isn't programming or working with graphics I am ready to offer help.
Sincerely,
Pavel

There's already plenty of references to Polish-Americans in the mod - the Chicagoan culture has plenty of Polish first and last names assigned to them, and there is an easter egg ruler in Mississippi that you might appreciate...

We will. I've stated numerous times that we're going to do this in a future update, probably after we're done with secret religions. Please be patient.

Is there anything to represent the one people group in America most likely to survive relatively untouched in this scenario-the Amish?
