Bug reports
Please report any bugs you find, even minor ones, or errors that don't seem to affect gameplay. Try to explain clearly what happens, and also provide a Hugslib log (even if there are no errors in it!). You can get one by pressing ctrl f12 after getting the issue. Bug reports without any Hugslib log are mostly useless, and will most likely be ignored.

There is a problem with carabin. There was a problem when the pawns finally got all the items out and then went out on the map. They ran the animals to the end of the map, and at the same time the animals disappeared. When another map was created due to the encounter, the merchant pawns that rode the animals did not move.

Thanks for reporting this! I managed to reproduce and fix the issue, and I just uploaded the fix.

None of my people are successfully riding the animals. They walk over to them, perform a single, very short interaction and then abandon the effort and walk anyway.

Whoops, I screwed up with the latest update. Fix will be there very soon.

Ok ilikegoodfood, I uploaded a fix for the problem introduced by the previous update :)

That now works wonderfully, but the people are only dismounting if the job is in the no-riding zone, not when they first enter the no-riding zone.
This means that if there is a no-riding zone with entrances at opossite ends and dismount spots by each entrance, they are riding to the dismounting spot that is closest to the job they are doing, often passing through the no ridding zone in order to get to it.
If the job is on the far side of a no-riding zone, they will ride through the zone instead of taking the adjacent ridable path. You may need to place a high movement calculation penaulty on the zone when a pawn is mounted, much like the Path Avoid mod, so that they try and move around it. This should also help with the dismount-spot issue.

Yes, valid point. It's not a bug though but that's just how its implemented right now. I'm still looking at finding a way to implement this without causing a big performance penalty. It's one of my top priorities, but it will require some more time to get it done. Untill then, you could adjust your base layout to prevent pawns from going through no-mount zones.

I found a bug where if i draft someone while mounted i can't undraft (and choose target) anymore, the icons are gone, the only way to fix the colonist is by killing him in dev mode and cheating in a resurrector mech serum.

Could you post the error log produced when this happens? Instructions are above.

I just remembered to report this bug a few hours after it actually happened, so i dont have the log unfortunately but it should be easy to replicate? One of my colonists had a mental break (the obsessive cleaning one) im not sure if she was trying to mount before or after the break, however i got spammed with the bug log in developer mode, both her and the animal were stuck in place, the animal itself said "Mounted" they were a good distance apart, she would not clean because she was trying to mount, however she couldnt mount because she couldnt move >_>, the animal was an elephant if that matters, i had to use dev tool to damage her down because the animal was about to start starving while pregnant. Again sorry about the lack of an error log!

Had two crashes today since I added your mod. I PRESUME it's due to yours. The first time I had a boar drop off a colonist at their work station but they stood in a doorway. As they were waiting I put a No Riding Area on top of the boar and the game crashed. The second time I have no idea what caused it. This is the log from the second crash. I did not think to upload the log from the first one, sorry :(

Thanks for the clear reports QuinenJGo and ArmoredStone. I'll look into it.

@ArmoredStone. It seems your computer went out of memory and therefore crashed the game. Too many mods maybe? I can at least look at the memory footprint of Giddy-up RideAndRoll and see if it uses more memory than expected (it shouldn't use to much).Ill let you know if I find anything strange.

edit: Asides from that, I tried reproducing the crash you had after you placed the no riding area, but couldn't. If you happen to get it again, please post the log here.

@QuintenJGo,
The problem of the pawn getting stuck is caused by a bug in Psychology. While I can't fix that, I did create a fix that makes sure animals will no longer wait to be mounted when their rider is in a mental state.

@roolo I guess running out of memory could be due to the obscene number of mods I'm using haha. Just didnt start happening until I added your mod and after I posted that log for you I disabled the mod and it ran smooth all night afterward. Maybe it's just the straw that broke the camels back? :P
