is there a way to turn off the " i shoot you for taking my food" pychosis
I really like this mod,the npcs make pz gameplay much more enjoyable,except for the major issues.

My biggest dislike atm,is the " everyone run to the nearest food container,and shoot each other "mental illness that occurs upon continuing a game.

I choose the military base for my spawn.Then i have to kill the 6 or 7 back guards,as they go nuts and kill people in the kitchen.Fine,i can live with that....Then theres the issue i mention in the title.The immediate run to get and eat food upon continuing play.This results is a massive shootout far too often,as the military guys end up spread all over base,and often end up running into where ever i set up my operations inside that base......

I think you reallly need to make it so if a player spawns into either of the primary spawn bases,they become part of the faction that runs the particular base.And anyone they recruit also becomes part of said faction.Or allow all the military mebers to be recruitable into the players faction.

As it is now,you pretty much have to kill off every military member save the 2 or 3 that are recruitable,as its the only way to avoid pointless mass shootouts between the chars faction and the bases.

Are you talking about the blockade ? So if you spawn there they kill each other over the food? They are only supposed to attack non group members who touch the food located in said group area. Maybe some of the soldiers or resident there are not properly set as group members causing shoot outs in the kitchen.

Yea, the back guard soldiers tend to shoot people who are in the kitchen and even the cots area.Ive found and killed about 7 of them,this includes one in the far back bunker with helipad on top.

And the other problem is,if you set up your base inside the the blockade base,sooner or later the soldiers come and eat your food and shootouts start then also.

the soldiers tend to wander away from their posts,and stay where they end up.often in buildings that have food and or water stocks.The hosiptal building seems to end up with a collect of 3 to 6ish soldier from all over,who basically dont leave the building,and always come back to it in the rare cases they do leave.

A way to intergrate the soldiers into your group would end alot of the sillyness.You can already invite some into your group.Private manning always seems recruitabel for the player,and oddly dan sometimes is and sometimes isnt.

Oh right so all the soldiers in the back area are hostile and on a different team then then rest so that they attack anyone who goes beyond the blockade. It was just a quick way to simulate a no go area. Rather than like detecting if player is in that area, they are just hostiles guarding and patrolling that area. This was added long before the feature of hungry survivors going to look for food on thier own was added. So yeah once those hostiles on the inside get hungry they will wander inward and cause gun fights for sure. Kind of an unexpected convenience

I dont think your getting your intention out of them (the back guards)...As my game play shows,once players figure out the way these back area gaurds act,they just get killed off by the player as a matter of self preservation.

The snipers and regular soldiers (from the front area) also start shoot outs when they desert their post and eat the players food.Perhaps just make this front area group of soldiers recruitable ?
