Lag Spikes and Raider Checking
This mod was working yesterday, I really like it!

But now, after I died and needed to create a new char, I'm getting lags spikes every few seconds

When I check in that command line I see that the game is checking for raiders spawn every few seconds. Is it right? is it causing the lag or is something else?

I tried disabling other mods and the problem wasn't solved, and when I disable super survivors the game works ok...

I really liked this mods, the raiders create a new challenge, but it's not working for me :/

Close down everything and fully reboot your PC. Then start pz again with nothing else running in the background. Everyonce in a while I gotta do this or I get lag stutters in pz kind of randomly mods or no mods

It works! Thanks! :)
Sometimes when I play a second run I get lag, then I just restart everything lol

So it isn't just me. Game stutters for me after 30 minutes.

Actually I will do some testing on clean game.

So far I am playing on clean game without your mod and I have no stutters. I believe your mod makes game stutter way too much to be playable.

Yup, confirming it right now, it's your mod. Played for some time and no stutter at all when it's disabled.

my PC Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 OC
16GB RAM
GTX1050Ti 4GB
Win10 on SSD

sorry man idk, I see no impact on performance myself until i manually spawn like 20 - 30 survivors, then i start to see fps drop from there. seems to be the same for pretty much everyone else too as far as I can see.

But you just said you have issues with PZ in this very thread. I can tell you that your mod is an issue because I've tested it in and out. Performance also equals stutter. So if stutter happens, that is performance issue.

I don't think it's possible that others don't have same stutter as it's engine issue. You just said in this thread that you do have performance issues and that you need to restart the game.

That's what I am talking about. Your mod is unoptimised because engine of PZ is not optimised yet for this. I'd suggest removing raiders for now because I suspect that game constantly checking for survivors clogs up the code. You need to find the reason as to why game starts to stutter so badly.

It would be nice if you could turn raiders off and it stop checking for them.

But Raiders are the most fun part in this mod! It's really game changing and exciting :D

It would be best if the vanilla game started getting some npcs features, so modders could add more to it :)

Sadly yeah, I noticed that this mod keeps pegging CPU, causing main game thread to jump in usage, which corelates to lag.

you suspect raider check is causing you lag because you see it appearing in console periodically. but i can assure you there is no way a few greater than less than calcualtions is causing freezing stutters. beacuase that all that happens each 10m raider event check.

To clarify your mis interpretation of what i said. i had at one point during my period of using the test vehicles, had experienced these stutters every few seconds causing freezing for about a second each time it happens. At first i suspected mods, but after much screwing around and testing i found it happened to me on fresh games with NO mods ...(sometimes) as well. eventualy an update to vehcile build fixed this for me. but after that time i still noticed some people reporting wwhat sounded like the same issue i had even after that update. even though it stopped happeing to me personally.

regardless, even if im mega wrong, I cant troubleshoot and fix a problem that I cannot see, experience or sense myself. because like i said, it works just fine for me, not even a effect on fps with default settings. And the people i watched using this on youtube also seem to have the same performance i experience.

sorry it not working for you, but im not a TIS employee or anything. I dont get anything for doing this. I have a real Job adn family to tend to besides this.
