Whoever forced FRA to build extra 5/5 factories for GER at the cost of 210 days of focus deserves a hug, really.

The build up in the colonies is hardly worth it cause of the RNGeee of the decisions to claim it back later. These decisions are a solid PP sink, that's with FRA losing it's Silent Workhorse now.

We've always had the requirement to build in france to get the colonial factories. From our regular players we've had only good feedback about it and you get A LOT of PP from the new backroom backstabber which we didn't have before. The new update is genuinely 100% a Free France buff and you complaining about RNG is because there are some cases in which Clausewitz just doesnt use Random properly which will have a safeguard in a coming update.

If you really want FRA to give GER more factories then just return back the 4 vanilla civs you decided to steal from FRA ... and give those +5/+5 to the occupation zone upon Vichy forming. You really dont have to force the poor FRA player to waste 210 focus days on it.

Everyone know how poor the RNG in the Clausewitz is ... thats why no one uses that. At least increase the chance with each attempt if nothing else, took me 5 attempts to take FWA and then wasted another 6 to fail to get Madagascar (just to make sure how fail this mechanic is). Would continue with that but fortunately EFR joined the war and prevented me from further misery there.

Also do you really expect real feedback from your sycophants who play this mod happily despite bugs like "not being able to change doctrine" and "not being able to continue after Dispersed I"?

Lol. You are one salty bugger aren't you? That was 2 games (should have been 1 but i wasnt told someone was hosting) to block the exploit. And the people playing this mod play this mod because the balance has been fine for a long time, and this was a one-time thing. Are you saying vanilla didn't do that either with the DLC? Did you stop playing HOI4? I still really dont see your point. The mod isnt based on vanilla balance. It has been the mods balance for 2 years I'd say, and the french have 100% gotten a BUFF. Whatever you say doesn't make sense because you are comparing to VANILLA, not the mod.

Played the mod for the first time and my opinion is not burdened with years of membership in your circle of self approvement. It's easy to lost contact with reality when you are affected by the baby duck syndrome.

My comments were not that much about game balance, they were about the tiresomeness of forcing 210 days of focus on a player only to build factories for the opponent and the frustration about pp costly decisions based on fault RNGee.

Also I never blamed you of the fact someone thinks it's cool to host a game with mod which is in a bug fixing progress, but it's just an indicator how self centered the group around this mod is and the lack of self reflection there.

At no point in the mod are you "forced" to do the industry. You see the debuff it gives you right? That means it also lowers your actual construction of factories where you want them. The industry is about taking choices, and you aren't MEANT to do all of them. The industry is about what places you plan to take back as Free France, and not "oh its factories so i NEED to take it". If you don't understand that then I don't know what to tell you.

I called "your sycophants" not the community but the folks who played the mod happily despite them being aware it's in a bugfixing state and who were even happy to host a public game with it. Your attempt to involve the whole community into this debate has been hereby detected ... and failed.

Yea, you don't have to do any focuses at all actually, the +1 PP is great to have anyway, it's not like you possibly need your 4th and 5th research slot as FRA. And if you need it ... you should consider yourself lucky it costs you only 210 focus days of building +5/+5 industry for your opponent.
