Quest won't start
I completed thieves guild questline, put the skeleton key back, and told Brynjolf I did. I didn't read the book or go in any of the new rooms before this, but when I read the book afterwards, the quest didn't start. I tried the unsub/resub thing (I'm pretty sure I did it right) but that didn't help. This is the third time trying. Please help. (Please explain in simple terms, I'm new to mods. And steam. And PC.)

I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME ISSUE AND WENT THROUGH THE AFORMENTIONED STEPS!!! I just wanna romantically woo the morally grey ginger, man!! :(

OMG OKAY I GOT IT TOO WORK IDK IF YOU GUYS STILL NEED THIS BUT I LITERALLY JUST DELETED THE FILES FROM CREATIONS LOAD ORDER, THEN REDOWNLOADED IT , BOOTED UP MY SAVE AND AND NOW IT WORKS
