Hello everyone to the third PSA Update! In this update, I will discuss some of the changes made in the mod, explain the status of the Sacramento event and end with a Q&A.

Once again, I am incredibly grateful for all of your positive support and comments! It is the reason I want to keep working on this project and ultimately make it the best I can!



-The New Update

This was quite the major release, so I am going to brake everything down into subcategories.

-bugfixes

This was something I really should have done shortly after the previous update. The focuses for Canada was broken to the point of being unplayable, but due to my schedule I was finally able to fix it. If any new bugs appear, please notify me and I will try to fix them!

-New Focuses

I added an Entente option to the focus tree! Now you can now make a deal with the King to give you the West Coast of Canada in exchange for membership in the Entente. Japan will not always stay democratic, so this gives you an option to survive.

- Treaty of Sacramento and Foreign Policy

I changed how the Foreign Policy force works now so it requires the PSA to sign the Treaty of Sacramento. I did this for several reasons.

1, The ACW can last for years because the old requirement to join factions and start wars could take years, leading to a boring game devoid of conquering.

2, the PSA taking Texas would mean the PSA would have ports on the Gulf of Mexico, making it the not appropriately named “Pacific State” and instead causing it to be the “The States of the Pacific, Gulf and Atlantic.”

Don’t worry, I know people take those state in order to even be able to survive, so have buffed the PSA dramatically in order to give it some advantages including buffing some of the Ideas and Increasing the general population of the PSA’S states. My lore friendly reasoning for an increased population in the PSA is due to people moving from all over the economically ravaged East Coast and Mid-West to the more prosperous West Coast. This leads me to my next addition…

-Added the City of Las Vegas

I drastically increased the population of Nevada and made it an important city. I know there is no city sprite yet, but I cannot seem to find a way to do it. It requires me to edit the map in Gimp, so if anyone is interested in helping, please contact me and you will get full credit! I added the city because in a later update I will add events to the different presidents to they may do some “interesting things” to the city.

-New flags and General portraits

This one comes courtesy of the wonderful Logandp7! He created a new 5 star flag representing the fact the PSA starts with Idaho and Nevada. He also mad additional designs you can choose from in the flag changing event. He also changed most of the general’s uniforms to look similar to the NCR uniform used by General Lee Oliver. It is a “minor” addition, but this mod was made to add little things like that. @ Vhaldez "Punished" Snake, Good point. I think it may or may nor be that difficult to implement that. I can see how PatAut Disny and Long could get along, so expect further updates…
