PSA Update 4
Hello Everyone! I have some good news and some bad news today, so let’s begin!

-Status of the mod

I know many of you are super exited (and are starting to get tired of waiting) for me to update this mod to KR 0.6. I have been spending my time working with some people to update the mod, but it unfortunately seems that I will need to rebuild the mod from scratch in order update it. I have tried overriding the mod files with the new KR files, but that is not working. Because of that, I am afraid to say that I am not be able to update the mod to 0.6! Because I am forced to remake the entire mod plus the upcoming KR update making changes to the ACW, I will start working on events and decisions, so I can create an operable version of this mod for 0.7!

This is technically my first major mod, so I am basically learning everything as I go, so if any of you wish to help me with updating this mod for 0.6, then I will take your advice, credit you and make you a friend on steam! Again, if any of you can help me update the mod for 0.6, that I will do it!

I again apologize for not having the mod out for 0.6, I apricate your support and thank you for your understanding! With the bad news out of the way, let me tell you the good stuff!

-Collaboration with Dankest Hour

A little while ago, I was contacted by Faust to join him a journey to create a special submod for Kaiserreich, Dankest Hour. Although the first preview of the mod is available here , the full mod will be released later. The objective of the mod is to create a crazy experience filled with KR memes. For example, Byzantium will exist and there will be an occultist path for New England headed by H.P. Lovecraft among other things. My current role is to create a Wild Wasteland version of the PSA mod. My plan will be to rerelease the PSA mod in a standard, less crazy form and release a separate standalone Wild Wasteland version filled with the content I will make for Dankest Hour.

-Plans for the Rebuilt mod

Because I will need to start from scratch, I will spend my time making new additions to the mod. I will not spoil everything, but I will give you a glimpse on what I am working on, so you guys can be exited for the next release.

* New ship names

If you build a new carrier, so you might as well get the “PSN Donald Duck”.

* New technology graphics and descriptions

You are no longer forced to make American guns, it is time to create a true Western service rifle!

* New Events

Learn about the politics, people and culture of this new nation.

* Decisions

With Waking the Tiger’s addition of decisions, you can make demands and build the PSA at your discretion.

* An American path

The Pacific states was created to preserve American values of freedom and democracy while preventing the horrors of the Civil War from reaching the Pacific Coast, so it makes sense that you should be able to work with the government in Washington to preserve these values in exchange for greater autonomy and the ability to follow your own path!

* New Advisers

With the potential for the PSA to move in a more “conservative” direction, new advisers shall embrace the calling! Among them are a young lawyer from California, A strongly anti-syndicalist actor and a politically minded writer with an interest in science fiction!

* And so much more!

This is just the standard content I will be working on. The Dankest Hour content I will make will include even more outlandish and interesting content.

-From the previous Update. @AnarchoMamon, That is a good point! My plan eventually is to add a more left leaning path in the focus tree. For right now however, my plan is to get the basic stuff complete and to flush out the Market Liberal and Paternal Autocrat/Authoritarian Democrat path first. If you have any suggestions or resources I can use to make the Sinclair path, please contact me.

Thank you All for your support! I will give you updates about my progress until the new release. If you all have any questions, please leave them down below and I will answer them.

Have a great day,

History 21.

Thanks for the update, really love this mod. Hope to see your rebuild soon. As a suggestion or question, when you win the civil war could you make it so that the country is renamed to something better then having it either reformed into the USA or having the pacific states reach from coast to coast?

@Detective Smirnoff, Good question! I have been thinking about this for a while, but I am considering my options. As you mentioned, there are two good options: Change the PSA or become the USA. I think that using the decisions added in WTT, I think I will have the PSA reform into the US. I will need to do more research and testing, but here is my plan: After taking over the old United States, an event fires for you to become the new American Government. You can decide to move the capital to D.C. or keep it in the City you chose earlier. After Reforming the US, you can take a decision that opens a new PSA related branch related to reconstruction in the American tree. Additional events and decisions occur depending on the type of government in charge, but I will leave those details out for the sake of preventing spoilers.

Just remember that I am learning all of this as I go, so this may not be the final product, but I will do my best to crate something enjoyable for you all!

Thanks for the update. I am highly anticipating the remake/release of this mod. The PSA is the most underwhelming of the countries that break out of the USA during the civil war. I'm very much liking the idea of being able to reform the USA with a western capital. Please keep us all informed of your progress.
Also, if you'd like any help with equipment trees. I'm an equipment geek, and would happily be a reference for alternatives for you to use.
