How to make it so it spends element?

So, I love this mod, in my opinion this is how tek armor should be in general with the exception that it doedn't consume any element, which I think makes it twice as broken, becuse you get all the tek pros with no cons basically, so is there a way to tweak it so that the supertek armor and rifle(s) consume element when used?
