It is not impossible, but extremely hard even in easy difficulty.
You need to remain your fleet small, make sure there is only one imperial class, replace everything else with small ships, and save some gravity well ship as reinforcement.
Hide ships really deep within nebula, call in backup immobilizers immediately after vader orders the attack and activate gravity well, or princess will escape. After that just use star destroyer to capture her.

THEN ITS NOT EASY!
