I subscribed and it still doesnt show up when i start the game
someone please tell me how to get workshop content to show up in the actual games

Wait for the UGC updating indicator to stop... Alternatively, you can open your steam console, go to downloads, and watch the progress.

Once it's done, open HK, hit new campaign, and choose it from the list.

where is this UGC indicator that you are referencing?

It shows up at the bottom of the screen, when you first start the HK game.

If this hasn't been resolved yet, or for anyone else with similar issues, it could also be you need to enable cloud syncrhronization from your steam settings menu.
