Hello dear community,
we would be interested to know your experience with the open beta version of the mod so far.

I think we found the reason for that and fixed it.
The mod should now show up in the mods list. Can you please check and let us know if it worked for you as well? Thanks!

Very happy that you liked the GC! Was it stable for you or did you experience crashes?

I think the one issue I had was that when I did the nanite research tree I had a single Puddle jumper stationed above Asuras so when the fleet that spawned there they became mine and the text said right away something like "Oh we dealt with the threat" then a little bit later the fleet there became hostile but just sat there and the planet still belonged to me. Think it might have broken the events afterwards, I'm not sure.

Wraith: das Energieprobleme-Missionsergebnis wird jetzt korrekt agezeigt, Melia spawnt jetzt und der automatische Sieg auf Orakis ist auch behoben:)
- Antiker: Imperiale Raumstation ist gefixt. Wegen dem GC-Abschluss: Lief denn das Script noch (sieht man daran, dass man jede Sekunde ein paar Credits bekommt)? Kam ein Text von Janus, als du alle Planeten erobert hattest?
Der nächste Patch sollte dann so in ein paar Wochen erscheinen:)

Thanks for the info about the missing Asgard installation, will be fixed with the next patch!:)
As for Asuras, sadly it's an issue that was introduced by EaW's update on Steam. Since the update a certain script command is no longer working (though it does for the retail and GOG versions of the game) and we have to see if the guys at Petro will fix it. If not, well have to remove the Asuran event chain from the campaign...

just a couple of things i noticed, the space station on the wraith home world is the same model as the Tau'ri space station (from what others have said it is the level 5 stations) and when you do the save the convoy mission your ships attack the convoy. other than that is a great mod and i can't wait to see more. A question as well, will we see the ancients as playable in skirmish anytime soon?

@Klon sorry for my late reply, I'll need to subscribe to this.

I don't think I was collecting credits automatically at this point, so it does sound like the script crashed but I couldn't tell you when it happened. I'll play through the GC again today and see if I can repeat the error :)

I was able to play through the GC with no issues this time. Although I did notice on this play through, when I did things like activate the Attero device, it caused stargates to explode.

On my first, it didn't so I had it active for ages with no visible effects.

This time, I did a lot of the story things such as sending the city ship to the planet needing evacuated and also went to the other planet to get the research. I dunno if by not doing those the first time, it stopped the story or something.

Loving the GC mode, it's glorious - I've managed to eradicate the Wraith on Medium difficulty, but I presume that this should not be possible as the game did not present a Win scenario and it's still running? I noticed fairly early on that the income stopped increasing, I thought that was a bug in itself, but I believe this indicates that the game had broken at some point?

Conversely, the Wraith homeworld (their 500 income planet) and worlds had Star Wars' Imperial space stations, rather than the Tau'ri that others have experienced.


I also experienced a situation where the Pride of Troy jumped into the Asteroid Field map and was destroyed even though it was not in contact with any asteroid fields on the map - I appreciate it makes sense that a City ship would sustain damage in an asteroid field on the battle map, but I jumped it in outside of a visible field, and no other capital ships sustained asteroid damage, Wraith or Ancient.

I also noted some text was incorrectly stating ships had 3 drone batteries when they had 4 etc

I'd also like to offer to help re-write the English version, as a native English speaker and Stargate lover I managed to interpret most of the text from my own knowledge, but unless you've got plans to update the English text, I'd love to help!

Ich habe grade meine Antiker GC auf mittel abgeschlossen und mir ist aufgefallen das die Bomber absolut op sind dürch das fehlen von pd auf seiten der Wraith. Die Stadtschiffe sind meiner meinung nach zu schwach für 22 Punkte sie machen einfach zu wenig schaden ich habe eins mit einen Basisschiff 1v1 gemacht und es hat nur gewonnen weil es denn anfang mit schilden abfängt. Auch fehlen für die Quest gegen ende die einträge im Questlog

(Ancients) Final Mission on Lantia / GC. Units are set to a different Faction and you are not able to retrieve any ZPM from any Sat. Imidiate loss. You´ll also have no units available no matter how many are present at any given time on the planet.

(Wraith) I like a more difficult GC but it seems that there´s no chance of actually winning against Ancient Warships due to a lack of technology and income at the early stages. Especially Wraith Fighters become more or less useless. Drones, Drones, Drones :D

Ancient Starbase Rank 5 Superweapon does not work/won´t Fire

1 Skirmish map has got a giant Planet in the center of the map. AI seems to have issues navigateing. Planet acts as a Giant Object with actual collision.

In the GC (Wraith) stations seem to turn into Empire stations at level 5, also Wraith ships feel really really weak, they could either use more fighters, more HP per weapon, or produce quicker or something. In any fight against enemy ships i lose 1/3 to 1/8 of my firepower in the first exchange long before theenemys shields are down, and by the time the enemy has lost shields i'm down to 1 weapon bank and maybe an engine on my smaller ships, and on the larger ones maybe 3 or 4 weapons but not much else lives and the ship is quickly destoryed by the enemys better and more fighters and weapons so..yeah.
