I found the old version of the mod ... found the compatibility file, there are lines:
;Grimy Loot Mod Compatibility Integratron thingamajigger
[GrimyLootMod.GrimyLoot_Research]
+AR_T1 = AssaultRifle_MercPlasma
+SG_T1 = Shotgun_MercPlasma
+LMG_T1 = Cannon_MercPlasma
+SR_T1 = Sniper_MercPlasma
+SMG_T1 = SMG_MercPlasma
+Pistol_T1 = Pistol_MercPlasma
+Sword_T1 = Sword_MercPlasma
+SparkRifle_T1 = SparkGun_MercPlasma
change string: [GrimyLootMod.GrimyLoot_Research] - [GrimyLootModWOTC.GrimyLoot_Research]
But in the game of the boxes I get the standard weapon...
Tell me what else to do?
or i copy compatibility .ini file to folder Grimy Loot Mod in folder "config" ?
I can't personally confirm if this works because I haven't reached plasma weapons in my playthrough yet.
Here's a list of things to chek in case there is something you might have missed:
-Complete plasma research
-Purchase plasma tier (You might also have to purchase the Merc plasma tier to get it show)
-Make sure you just drag and dropped the ''XComGrimyLootMod' file and placed it in the WotC version.
-Completly remove the older version(s) of the mod if you haven't already
-Try removing the ';' marks infront of the weapon names (ie ;+AR_T1 = AssaultRifle_MercPlasma to +AR_T1 = AssaultRifle_MercPlasma)
If all else fails try contacting Claus (the mod author) directly.
I'm no modder so I can't really offer any help.
You would need to rename the file XComGrimyLootModWOTC.ini and then open the file and, anytime you see GrimyLootMod you would change it to GrimyLootModWOTC. Then you would put that file in the Mercenary Plasma Weapons WOTC folder’s Config folder.
Once you’ve done that, keep in mind that the game will roll on the entire list of items it has for each array. So you have a 50-50 chance of getting a merc Plasma Weapon or a normal plasma weapon (assuming you have no other mods that weapons to those arrays)
