Bug's Nest
All confirmed bugs are in the list below. If you find a bug that isn't already listed, please report it. My goal is to eventually fix all bugs (Not labeled "Arma Bug") before transitioning into an addon. If the bug is crossed out on the below list, that means it has been fixed in the next upcoming version!


BUG'S NEST
ARMA BUGS
  • Desync can cause delays in AFAR code {Arma Bug}

  • Can't talk in any channels while a dialog is open, such as radio UI {Arma Bug}


OTHER BUGS
  • If a display (Other than 46 or 312) is active, your AFAR eventHandlers halt until you return to display 46/312

  • Talking while opening radio interface can glitch r_dn_ and r_up_ variables, causing PushToTalk eventHandlers to seemingly pause

NOTE: If you experience the rare persistent radio noise bug, simply drop your radio and pick it back up

voip bugs can be worked around by dropping radio on ground and picking it back up. including underwater issues

I can still hear the Command/Group Channel even after dropping the radio.

I'm receiving the script error related to serialization of "r_dis" variable. If there is a fix available for this mentioned in the comments section, I haven't combed through them all looking for it yet. (I notice it's marked out in the Bug's Nest list above.)

EDIT: You just posted about this being addressed in the next update. Thanks!

The ping system doesnt work anymore after i used this script. not tested 100% but i think the radio script was the cause.

Changing the volume breaks the whole mod. All sound effects break when I start changing the volume and the mod turns back into the vanilla radio. This typically happens when I reach 0 volume, but I have had it happen multiple times when changing the volume at all.

@Cod Of Ages: Left-click the volume knob to increase volume, right-click to reduce volume.

That's not the issue. Changing the volume makes the entire mod stop working after a short while and it reverts back to vanilla Arma radio.
Using this script, the ACE keys do not work (only works on Zeus).

@KMGF. KOR_KMS772: What keybinds are the ACE keys? I haven't used ACE in years and AFAR just adds DisplayEventHandlers for the PushToTalk keys, Next/Previous Channel keys, and Diary key.

Win Key(Default), The ACE key works in Zeus mode, but all the ACE keys do not work in the character state.
I haven't gotten any Steam notifications so I've found out late to reply, so I'm Replied now. Sorry for that.
@Phronk Could you please give me an legacy version that does not include radio distance limiting, sound reduction based on distance, and audibility reduction due to terrain interference?
@Phronk Can you test for ACE issues yourself and update to the resolved version? Seeing that only me is having this problem on my server and others do not have it, it seems that only I have Zeus privileges or only the server host and administrator are having this problem.
@Phronk Or can you give me a version that includes only the radio noise, radio sound effect, and the ability to touch the radio because I only want to give it a realistic feel.
It seems like the ACE interaction key doesn't work because of a crash caused by a mod, so I'm checking which mod is causing the crash.
