loading a save crashes the game

Galactic Conquest (GC) Multiplayer?

runs great on disk version even with many star fighters on the map, but does not run great (Lags horribly) on steam version.

Constant Crashes late game GC Fall of the Jedi

Is this happening to anyone else? Its crashing on me constantly. :(

I had this happen a lot using the disc version. Not sure what the bug was, but it certainly made things frustrating to say the least; big buildup, then crash and lose everything.
