Lucrehulk spam makes game unplayable
The Lucrehulk spam in this game is out of control. I NEVER see banking clan frigates or providence carriers. All the CIS ai does is wait until it has fleets with nothing but lucrehulks and it makes the game boring, there's zero unit diversity fighting the seperatists in space. Then later on in the game they start getting fleets of 20 LUCREHULKS and at that point the game becomes quite literally unplayable, the engine can NOT handle 20 lucrehulks at once let alone 10. There's just a ridiculous amount of fighters and the game slows to a crawl. So now not only are you fighting 20 Lucrehulks, you're fighting them at 5 fps so the battle takes usually around 20-30 minutes before you get through all of them. And once you do beat those 20 Lucrehulks and you're feeling really good about yourself, guess what, another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 25 Lucrehulks coming in immediately after that. At that point it's just not fun. The devs NEED to make Lucrehulks weaker than the Providence so you have to keep them back and use them as an HQ kind of deal, they already are with them having the ping ability. Then the Providence class can be the specialized ship to ship battleship for the ai like it normally is for the human. Because if the ai had spent the money on the 20 Lucrehulks on a more diverse fleet with say, a more diverse fleet with Providences, banking clan frigates and what not, they probably would win a lot more often. Right now playing the Republic is a joke. But playing as the CIS is much more fun because fighting 15 venators actually makes sense and isnt a pain in my ass.
