XCOM on kill abilities not working on MOCX intentional?
So I have found something with the MOCX units. It seems that whenever you kill a MOCX soldier with a soldier that has an on kill ability that ability does not proc (i.e. Ranger with untouchable and implacable will proc neither when killing a MOCX soldier). Is this intentional? Just wondering if it is.

Also on an unrelated note, the bleed out rate of MOCX is freaking HUGE. It has to be over 95% lol. Actually I wonder if that has anything to do with it. When you put them into bleed out you didn't actually kill them. Either way I am curious to know.

Was wondering about this myself. I don't mind them living to fight another day, but when MOCX comes in numbers, and I can't use the usual ways of dealing with large numbers (Serial, Reaper, etc), I feel like they have an advantage they shouldn't have.

I actually found out why this happens. When a MOCX unit goes into bleedout they aren't technically dead, just knocked out left with 1 health. That is why on kill proc abilities dont activate since the MOCX unit isn't really dead.

Right, that makes sense, I'm just wondering if it's possible to have the bleedout while still triggering death effects.

What an amazing complex mod! Really appreciate the depth. I definitely get tripped up when encountering MOCX and trying to use any skill that chains off of deaths (e.g. Serial). It is hard to get the damage output while encountering them and another pod!

Perhaps an easy workaround for this would be that 'on kill' abilities proc by making crits a guaranteed kill rather than have chance for bleedout?
