Also, how does the fire mission command work? I feel like I've read that it has not been implemented yet or something but I can't seem to find it lol. Thanks!
Edit: Saw a post saying only one weapons console is needed to control all. Do I need more target aquisition radar things then? hmm.
its actually cold water and steam pipes, blue and red, the cooling pipe is the aquamarine coloured pipe, check if thats the issue
Stress the core by overheating it
Are all of your railguns connected to the same powernet as the console and ppc's, are they loaded, is hold fire toggled on, is the target inside their minimum range radius, or do you have enough charge in your ppc's to actually fire all 4 at the same time.
Fire mission is a button on the railgun, to use it you need colonists in another map, like a caravan ambush or a raid on an enemy base, then you can target enemies in the other map, keep in mind the pulse required for these long range shots is quite large, up to 6kw/d for a single 30 tile shot
I think I'm only able force attack one at a time, but I can select each turret individually and make them all force attack at once. Not a big deal. Thanks!
Yes the colors are the good ones, and core is connected to turbine with both.
If its piped correctly and the research bench is on then it should pass the test after a few seconds, can you post screenshots of your setup and your research screen?
I have a transformer high-voltage-connected to my Thor turbine receiving power from my reactor. On an isolated power cable line, that transformer is connected to 2 fully charged PPCs, the Target Acq Sys, and the Weapons console. Nothing else is connected to this power grid.
My weapons console works and I see colonist tracking blips and the TAS dot. I'm missing the blue-->red bar on the left of the console screen though - I can see the bar when I connect the isolated power grid to my "literally everything else" power grid so I'm guessing I'm missing something from my dedicated weapons power grid? But I'd like to keep it isolated so... what do I need to connect?
TIA :)
(also, still have the item stacking on my mind, if you remember, but its no big deal and I'm a lazy bum so whatever.)
Yup you didn't connect the cold water pipe from the core to the turbine, it looks like you tried to connect the cooling pipe, you can see that when you have the cooling pipe selected to build that only the cooling tower and turbine have the light blue grid over them and not the core, that means that it does not connect to the core, look for the dark blue cold water pipe
hmm are you positive that the weapons console and ppc's are actually on the same powernet, because the ppc energy bar will only show if you have charged ppc's on that net, the radar dish is actually wireless it just needs to exist
Thanks and sorry for my misunderstanding. I keep on enjoying this quite pleasant mod ;)
