Tauri Troubles

I started the System Lords Campaign as the Tauri. Got to the Alpha Site and built everything. Every building, and sent SG1 to do the MALP mission. But the planets around me never opened up, and the mission did not progress. I waited until week 30 and quit. Is this a known bug?
