Finally got back to this game and this mod, but ground battle isn't working
All structures disappear after they're built, pre-built structures don't help either. There is some missing sounds in the space battles for like "constructing unit, upgrading", and perhaps some missing sounds of weapon fire.

Ah there's been no update of mod since 2017, but there was update of the official game in mid 2018 so it's not that abandoned yet, quite impressive I thought I'd would have to install CD and try making it work in Win10 but this steam version works perfectly on Win10. Hopefully nothing bad happened to the creator of this mod.

Weird, I distinctly remember ground battles being a thing long time ago, 3-4 years, but I guess it was all unfinished so it's not included now, good to see some heartbeat in the comments section, so this isn't abandoned after all.

The mod is not yet finish we are working on the ground part.
Your memory isn't wrong, but you are thinking of the very old version of the mod for the base game not Force of Corruption.

The Beta version of this has working ground battles right now.
