Here’s a list that clarifies some steps from the SMH tutorial (3.0 and beyond). Much of what I’ve watched validated my use of SMH, so I do not have anything else to add. Although maybe as more versions of it come out in the future, this list will expand. If you do have something to add from any SMH tutorial, reply here, and maybe I will also put it to this list

• In the first part of the tutorial, there is no advanced settings option in the keyboard settings, due to a March 2024[gmod.facepunch.com] update. The developer console is always enabled, bound to the `/~ key, so you need to just press that, either in the main-menu or after you load into a map. If it doesn’t open at first in the main menu, you can try to refocus the GMod window by alt-tabbing out and back in, or clicking any empty space in the main menu, and then retry pressing the keys to open the dev console. Alternatively, you can launch GMod w/ -console launch option
