If you aquired all the materials then you should be able to craft it at the anvil.

Wizard class weapon and upgrades
After grinding for a total of 125 dying stars I attempt to craft super nova and even though i have nova in my inventory it won't work

just made a new nova to create super nova i hope this isn't intended since dying stars do take a fair amount of effort to get i have gotten level 40 before getting super nova granted i wasn't constantly grinding for dying stars and i just looked to see that i now have two super novas and no novas

The upgrades are given to you for free through the quest line. Subsequent attempts at making the weapon (to give to a friend for example) require crafting.

Edit: Which is why you have two Super Novas. Level 30 grants you the Super Nova and its blueprint, and Level 50 grants you the Primed Nova and its blueprint, so long as you have the previous one in your inventory. The quest won't complete without it, so you won't have to worry about losing out on the upgrade.

crafting nova?
how does one do so?

With nova crystals at an anvil. Nova crystals are crafted from dying stars using furnace. And for the sake of avoiding such mundane questions in the future please use the online doc thats linked in the description: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t6rcD43adAM1sUD4cOROOJJXa24PZYnYy0-5a12O3Us/edit?usp=drivesdk

If you don't see it at all, you likely don't have the blueprint. Did you finish the Class Quest?

yep. i even seen it say "you learned how to craft nova" or whatever the dialogue says when you learn something new at the bottom

The Nova itself is in the Anvil not the Furnace. The Nova Crystals which are necessary to craft the Nova can be crafted from any Furnace.
