first play through I tamed a pair of Arthropleura. The female laid some eggs and soon I had an army of giant centipedes. Second playthrough i tamed a pair of the giant scorpions. Since they do not lay eggs i had assumed the female maybe would get pregnant and give birth to live offsprings but it never did that even after a couple of years. I haven't tested this on other megafauna yet but i'd at least assume any giant mammals (like giant boars or mammoths) would be capable of reproduction via pregnancy. Do only the egg-laying megafauna capable of reproduction because of the "fertilized egg" mechanic? is it only some other subset of the megafauna capable of reproduction? or should all be capable and its some other factor that caused my giant scorpion pair to not reproduce?
