Story: a virus is released into the air, it spreads across most of Canada infecting nearly everyone! leaving only New Brunswick and Nova Scotia as the last remaining provinces.
Quarantine zones and barriers across the borders are set up.
Left isolated from the rest of the world, the people try to flee south, in the mayhem the virus somehow takes hold and spreads like wildfire, with only a few hundred survivors left, it's every man for himself.

No one quite knows how the virus entered New Brunswick but rumours suggest that it may have something to do with the oil rig.
