Description

Simply the best storage module ever made. Check the video.
PS- Set to public, it does not latch on, for extremely easy docking. Then set it back to faction or private and it latches on without needing to move.

I am perfectly fine with people making modifications and uploading them. The best way to improve a design is to allow it to be shared. As such, consider my blueprints "open source" and free to edit as you see fit.

--I FORGOT TO MENTION:

Under the P menu is a group called "1-Flight Systems." If you turn it off, it has power for somewhere around 5,000 minutes.

@lazersgm This is somewhere around 2 years old now. It is possible the shutters have changed entirely and so they no longer work.

seems to be buged atm. the shutters don't work and cant be removed even in creative mode.

I've made an edit on this to have a motion sensor which turns off and on the core when in proximity to save the use of power when only using it as a storage module

i love this little thing, enough that i built a CV and kept it in mind.

@Suzuka Sakurai it will work with any CV that has a single CUBE open to store it in. You don't actually have to move them to relocate them. Just leave a cube open and back it into that spot. It can be parked permanently (just remember to restock gas every 5,000 or so hours) and it still serves as 20 times the storage density as a traditional storage container (8 times as much in containrs, plus the fabricator for 2 times more, and takes up half the space.) Nobody every said it HAD to be moved in and out of a hangar bay. Just park it as a store shelf and it's good to go.
